Camp 1: Superheroes in Training: "Jesus is my super hero!"

We are having SO much fun at Superheroes in Training camp!!  To see some of the pictures from today, click HERE and 'like' our Facebook page!

Part of our day today was spent in chapel talking about how Jesus is our superhero!!

We talked about how Jesus performed lots of miracles, which was due to his undeniable super powers!!  We also discussed that he taught us all to LOVE one another no matter what!  Each child left with a sticker proclaiming that Jesus is our superhero!  

How has Jesus been a superhero in YOUR life??

SUNsational Centers were AWESOME!!!

Monday and Tuesday of this week all of the kiddos at CDC enjoyed special outdoor time, fun cooking and science experiences and more!

Thank you to all of the parents that volunteered their time to help make the days a success!  The kids had an amazing time!

Visit from Breezy the horse!

Yesterday and today, we got to enjoy a visit from Ms. Heather and her horse, Breezy!  Ms. Heather talked to us about how to care for a horse, how horses see on their sides better than straight in front and how to approach and pet someone's horse!  The kids even got to pet Breezy after Ms. Heather made sure everyone know how to keep themselves and Breezy safe!

What a wonderful hands-on experience for all of us!
